International Education Week Alumni Panel Nomination Form
The objective of International Education Week, which takes place November 17-21, 2014, is to support WKU’s mission
by creating meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and community members to engage in intercultural
dialogue and experience firsthand diverse cultures and perspectives.
A variety of events will be held throughout International Education Week, including a panel presentation by recent WKU
graduates who will share how they are currently using their international experience in their fields of work. This event
will take place Wednesday, November 19th at 4 PM. We invite you to nominate a WKU alumnus/alumna who meets the
eligibility requirements as outlined below to present at this event. Nominations for alumni panelists will be accepted
until October 20th, 2014. Forms may be submitted by email to katherine.hale@wku.edu .
Eligibility Requirements
A. Graduate of WKU
B. Have experienced international education in one of the following forms while a student at WKU:
a. Participated in an academic experience abroad (study abroad, research, student teaching, service
learning, internship, etc.)
b. Studied at WKU as an international student
C. Be currently utilizing the skills gained from his/her international experience in a professional capacity, either
directly or indirectly
D. Be living within a few hours’ drive of Bowling Green (funding may be available for mileage reimbursement)
