Decorations – Hallways/ Gym / lockers Athletes’ lockers may be decorated by their cheerleader Grade level decoration contest in the high school Homecoming Dance - High School, Sat. Nov. 7th, 2015 ( 7:00-11:00 p.m.) Old Gym Homecoming dance admission is $10.00 Students wishing to bring a guest from another school must have a completed Out of School Guest form for the guest student signed by their principal, and returned to Mrs. Estay Thursday, Nov. 5th. The guest must also present their school ID at the door. Parents/guests are welcome to view the court presentation and depart when the dance begins. Homecoming Dance Dress Code – refer to guidelines posted and sent home Cell phones MUST be left in the basket at the door Dress up Days – all dress must be school appropriate. No Pajama PANTS allowed on any dress up day Monday – Decade Day - come decked out in your favorite decade. From 50’s sock hop to 80’s big hair and bright colors. Pick whatever decade you want to represent? Wednesday – Scrabble Day - Paint a scrabble piece on a shirt and put whatever letter you want on it. Spell words all day long with your friends! Thursday – Purple & Gold Day: Boys vs. Girls - Come decked out in the most purple and gold you can! We are making this a contest. Girls come wearing purple, and boys wear gold!! Let’s see who will win this! We will judge to see who is the most decked out purple girl and gold boy and announce it at the pep rally. Friday – Squad Up against Highland Baptist! - Come with your squad this day – your squad could be anything that goes together. Example: Batman & Robin, Barbie & Ken, The Three Little Pigs, a box of crayons….think out of the box! The best Squad will win a free dress pass! Parents and younger students are invited to watch the fun – no admission charge Powder Puff Football Game – Wednesday, Nov. 4 - 6:00 p.m. at the Football Field Flag Football game between 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade girls: 30 minute game Sign up with Mrs. Pye – our football coaches will be coaching the teams! Parents and students encourage to attend! $2.00 admission Concessions will be sold Bonfire – Wednesday, Nov. 4 immediately following Powder Puff game Bonfire is held at the track, immediately after the Powder Puff game All students, parents and community members are welcome at the bonfire Concessions will be sold Pick-up time is no later than 8:30 p.m. Parade – Thursday, Nov. 5 @ 5:00 p.m. Roll time is 5:00 p.m. from the Teche Baptist Church in Centerville, one way back to CHS Homecoming court, football team, cheerleaders, CHS Band, and all sports/clubs are welcome to ride in the parade Pep Rally –Thursday, Nov. 5 after the parade in the New Gym Students in grades 6-12 sit in the purple bleachers Parents and younger students sit upstairs Captain and Co-Captain of the football team announced HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME! Friday – Nov. 6 @ 7:00 p.m. Come out and support the Bulldogs in their last regular football game of the season!!!! Homecoming Court Maid Presentation at halftime – 1st maid and Queen announced Toilet papering / vandalism Toilet papering and other acts of vandalism are not condoned by Centerville High School as part of homecoming festivities Students who engage in toilet papering without permission or other acts of vandalism risk being charged with criminal offenses Complaints will be forwarded to the St. Mary Parish Police Department Students caught toilet papering the school will be given 3 days ISSP, denied admittance to the dances, and subject to charges filed for vandalism.
