How to ‘Hide’ an Object in ActivInspire

Click the object to be hidden
Click Action Browser
Select ‘Hidden’
Click Apply Changes
Click off object
Roll over object with mouse or pen and wait for the blue arrow then click on the
object. You can toggle back and forth between hidden and showing.
Tip: if you have an object hidden, I suggest that in your note browser, you write a note to
yourself to remind you that you have a hidden object.

another object appear or disappear

Click on the object to be the ‘trigger’ either show or hide another object
Click on the Action Browser.
Select ‘Hidden’
In the Action Properties, select the ellipsis (…) and a pop up box will appear with all of
the items that are on your page. Scroll through them till you have the object that you
want to appear/disappear, click on it then press ok.
5. Click on apply changes in your browser.
6. Click off your trigger object, and then click again on the trigger to toggle back and forth
between your chosen object hiding and showing.
