Linguistics Course: Semantics and Pragmatics

The goal of the course is to gain knowledge of the fields of Semantics and Pragmatics and to
acquire the necessary skills for being able to do research in these fields.

The course is given in the form of seminars that demand active participation from the
students. The student’s participation demands reading and digesting of the literature and
preparation for participation in the seminar discussions. To complete the course, the student
must pass a take-home examination. The course demands full-time studies amounting to at
least 160 working hours.
