Executive Officers Report
President – Bret Zimmerman
 Expectations: please stay off of cell phones, keep side conversations to a minimum, and
listen to what senators and slate members say
 Swear in new senators
 Semester overview: Pirates game, Homecoming, Majors Fair, SGA Day, Dinner with the
Dormans, New Slates, etc.
 Board of Trustees
o Co-ed housing next year (2015-2016)
o 2018: Hoyt Science Center renovations
o Concerns of departmental layoffs from students (take concerns to the Board)
o Focusing on enrollment retention, looking to new programs/majors to keep
students interested and to attract more students

 Talking to Public Safety about parking tickets (specifically on the weekends and weekday
evenings)

a. Why ticket cars on weekdays after 5:30 PM when there are no cars in parking spots? It
makes being involved rather difficult when living off campus.
i. Communication with Public Safety is key! Email JJ Walker
ii. Can we get parking passes that have limited (evening and weekend) privileges?
b. Kazual (presented by CPC) is this Friday @ 8 PM in Berlin Lounge
c. SADD is looking for Happy Bus volunteers
d. Gateway Clipper next Friday night (September 12th)! Buy tickets in the TUB!
e. FCA meeting tomorrow night at 8:30 PM in Witherspoon rooms
f. Sunday at 1:00 PM Theta Chi is having a party for independent males in Berlin Lounge.
Come watch the Steeler game and eat pizza!
g. Dance Theater meeting tomorrow at 8:00 PM in Old 77
h. Home football game this Friday at 7:00 PM.
i. Free Hug Friday this Friday. Come see Jenny Jones for a hug!
