Answer: The El Dorado Passport is 102” wide and the mini buses will be 96” wide. 1. Are these vehicles currently in the vicinity and can they be seen by our team? If so, when and where? Answer: Yes, the vehicles are located at the Forsyth road address and can be viewed during 9am to 4pm any weekday. 2. If we are unable to view the buses is it possible to receive photographs of all sides of the vehicles? Answer: See number one above. 3. Do the vehicles currently have any graphics on them and if yes will we be required to remove those graphics? Answer: No, the shuttles are painted in white. 4. The install site is listed as: 2169 Forsyth Road. I need more information about the site. We need to know is the space: enclosed; clean space; climate controlled; running water; restrooms; adequate light; capacity for how many vehicles at one time; what hours of access will be available to our teams. Answer: Yes to all, hours of installation can be 8am to 5pm weekdays (additional days and hours can be available). 5. Will we be responsible for cleaning the vehicles prior to wrapping? It is necessary to wash a vehicle 24 to 48 hours prior to wrapping with time after for adequate air drying. This needs to be done in clean space. Is that being undertaken by the UCF team? Answer: The success bidder will be required to wash and prep all shuttles prior to install at the facility. 6. Graphics that depict the backs of the buses are inconsistent. Vehicle 1 (StarCraft) shows vinyl on the window, vehicles 2, 3 and 4 do not. Please advise which vehicles specify window vinyl on the rear window and which do not. Answer: The four mini shuttles named StarCraft will have vinyl on rear windows, whereas, all other shuttles will not. 7. Also on the backs, placement of the UCF website information is inconsistent which probably indicates that a protuberance on the vehicle interrupts consistent application. Has someone measured so that we are absolutely sure that the placement of the text is accurate and is not interrupted by reflectors or mirrors or other attachments on the vehicle? 2 Answer: Vendor can make measurements and use best installation method (and should not deviate from the specs). 8. On vehicles 1 and 4 the placement of the Gold UCF Logo is very close to the rear of the bus and even appears to be placed on the side so that it is slightly beyond the back edge. Is that placement intentional? Is it acceptable if the logo is slightly over the sight line at back edge? Answer: The placement of the Logo is intentional, and successful bidder should not deviate from the specs. 9. Where Pegasus is applied onto passenger windows, is that portion of the graphic specified as perforated “window” vinyl? Answer: Yes. 10. Will the UCF graphic design team prepare files according to our file preparation specifications or will we be required to adjust files? Is there time built in to the process to allow for file correction if required and would that time be added onto the delivery date if files have to be altered? Answer: Success bidder will be responsible for files if there are any changes. Yes. 11. How long can the buses be out of service? Typically we like to have a cure time of 24 to 48 hours before they are put in use. Will that time be in addition to the completion time? Answer: Shuttles will not be in service until 1/2/14. 12. Location: 2169 Forsyth Rd, Suite#2 Does location have buildings large enough to accommodate installations indoors for all size buses? Installations need to take place in a clean, dry, interior environment to guarantee proper application. If this location does not have indoor facilities available, we are able to do so at our location, 17469 West Colonial Drive, Winter Garden, FL. We also have ample parking area for buses waiting for graphics installation. Would we be able to install the graphics while the buses are still on our property, or transfer them back to our property for installation? Answer: Yes, the indoor building at Forsyth will be large enough to accommodate all size shuttles. 13. Is the yellow on the back of the buses paint or graphics? MCS warranty is 7 years for 180C and 1080 wrap films. Per 3M product bulletins, Warranty for perforated Window vinyl is 1 year. Is it possible to substitute 3M 1080-G12 Gloss Black instead of using 180C-10 printed process black. Is it possible to substitute 3M 1080-G15 Gloss Yellow instead of using 180C-10 printed PMS 7406? Looking at color samples Gloss Yellow looks almost identical to 7406 in sunlight. Gloss Black is slightly darker than Printed Process Black. Our thoughts on the substitution: 3 Since 1080 colors are pre-cast, there will be minimal fading and later repairs will match extremely well. Due to the time constraints of the installations, preparing 1080 will be more efficient than printing and preparing 180C. Answer: Vinyl wrappings with the specified colors of the ITB should be maintained. 14. What color vehicles are the (4) different shuttle bus versions… are they all “white”? Answer: All White 15. Do you have 3M recommended film specs? Answer: No. 16. Are these full wraps or can they be a partial wrap? Answer: Full wraps are required. 17. What film is used on the glass window(s)… perforated window film or opaque film? Answer: Perforated. 18. Do you have an indoor bay facility well lit and heated where the installations can take place? Answer: Yes. 19. Do you have garbage cans and or compactors where we can through the garbage? Answer: There are two dumpster on site that can be used. 20. How many days a week can we install and what are the hours? Answer: See response to question 4. 21. How many vehicles will be ready each day for installation… more than 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.? Answer: All. 4
