Social members
Social membership of BFA is for beginners and those who do not wish to fence Open Competitions or
at other clubs.
If you are joining the beginners course, Cambridgeshire Fencing Club will arrange your social
membership for you (the course fee includes this).
If you are joining as a Social Member you will need to register BFA Social Membership (£10). Please
fill in the form found here: British Fencing - Social Membership Form.
Full members
Full membership of BFA is required for all club members who fence in several clubs and/or fence
competitively. Cost of full membership is £40.
If you are joining as a Full Member you will also need to register BFA Full Membership (£40) Fencing

4. Fees

Beginners Course:
£92 for 10 weeks (£20 deposit required)
£82 (if you attend a Taster Session prior to enrolling)

£20 (£10 deposit required)
Note: Visitor fees are £8.50 for Full Members and £6.50 for Junior / Student Members and can be paid
in cash per session on each evening.
5. Payment
Full Members – Standing Order:
Standing Order form can be downloaded and posted to your bank or set up online.
CFC Standing Order Forms can be downloaded from: Cambridge Fencing - Standing Order Form
Please include this with your Membership Application.
Enrolling on Beginners Course: A deposit of £20 is required to book your place on the course.
The remaining fee shall be due on the first night of the course.
Enrolling on Taster Session:
A deposit of £10 is required to book your place on the session.
The remaining fee shall be due on the first night of the course.
