Technology Developer Accelerator Pilot Programme Application Form Technology Developer Accelerator Pilot Programme (TDAP) APPLICATION FORM Introduction The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) Technology Developer Accelerator Programme (TDAP) is a ‘pilot’ programme aimed at Small and Medium sized Technology Developers (TDs). Its intent is to provide TDs support to identify routes to market, accelerating technology development cycles and prepare them to be commercially viable in a shortened time scale. If this pilot programme is successful and stakeholders agree, then APC expects to plan a similar on-going programme. APC’s delivery partner for this pilot programme is Productiv Limited who will utilise elements of the Core Technology Development phases of an automotive OEM New Products Introduction (NPI) Programme to deliver the pilot. The Technology Developer Accelerator Pilot Programme will take TDs through a three-stage process that will prepare the TD for engagement in automotive OEM and Tier 1 development programmes, including those funded by APC and Innovate UK. If your application is successful you will be provided with technical and industry specialist support to guide you through the three-stage process. If you complete all three-stages, your product or service will exit having achieved a Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) 4 and a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5. More information on the Technology Readiness Levels can be accessed from the Automotive Council website and also using the following link: http://www.automotivecouncil.co.uk/wpcontent/uploads/2011/01/Automotive-Technology-and-Manufacturing-Readiness-Levels.pdf The programme permits matched funding to be provided through the APC and the expert support from our delivery partner. The Pilot Programme Stages The pilot programme will be delivered in the following stages: STAGE SUPPORT STAGE 0: APPLICATION Your application will be reviewed by an expert panel and if successful will be short listed for Stage 1.
