The Next Generation Melvyl Pilot launch is confirmed for Tuesday, May 27. Please continue implementing your campus rollout as outlined earlier: On May 27, initiate the activities in the Next Generation Melvyl Pilot Launch Toolkit. Start working down the list of “Ten Things Every Campus Should Do during the Pilot.” As of Tuesday, begin distributing your campus customized bookmarks at circulation desks as books are checked out. Dispense bookmarks and notepads in classes, in tours or activities welcoming new students, and in other venues as appropriate. Continue or put into action staff training and prepare to work with end users. Take the user satisfaction survey, now available in the web banner link, and encourage end users to take it, too. Use the feedback links at the bottom of the page to provide feedback to OCLC and the Implementation Team. Thanks to all of you who are engaged in this phase of the project.
