Welcome to Session 142 – Avian Bornavirus and Proventricular Dilatation Disease Dr. Barbara Oglesbee is an avian and exotics veterinarian at MedVet Hilliard, where she has been on staff since 2009. She has been board certified in avian medicine and surgery since the specialty began in 1993. She is co-author and editor of The 5Minute Veterinary Consult: Small Mammal and has served as associate editor of the Journal of Avian Medicine and Surgery. In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Oglesbee serves as an adjunct professor of avian and exotic animal medicine at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. At OSU, she previously served as head of Companion Avian and Exotic Animal Clinical Services for more than 15 years, and she continues to teach courses in avian, rabbit and ferret medicine.
