Student Fees – Fact Sheet

from the drop down menu, go to the fees tab, your course fees are published here.
Fee Cap
The following tuition fee caps will apply in 2016:
For students born on or after 1 July 1998 who are at least 15 years old, tuition fees will not exceed $415 per year (for
any number of courses).
The tuition fees for Diploma and Advanced Diploma will not exceed $7,780 per course per year.
These caps are only applicable to tuition fees. Students will pay full resource fees. Caps are applied per calendar
year.

2. VET FEE Help
Eligible students of Diploma, Advanced Diploma and selected Certificate IV courses can opt to defer the payment of
all or part of their fees by applying for VET FEE Help. To be eligible for VET FEE Help you must be an Australian
citizen or holder of a humanitarian Visa.

Paying in instalments
Instalment plans will be available to all students enrolled in a Certificate or Diploma level course
*NOTE: Instalment plans are only available via a Direct Debit from your nominated bank account.

*Concession rate - Students eligible for concession pay 50% of the tuition fee (only for publicly funded certificate
courses). No concession given for resources fee.

Debts from a previous semester
Students who have a debt from a previous semester, will not be able to enrol for this semester.
Please contact Student Services to arrange payment for any outstanding debts.

Certificate I, II, III and IV Courses
*NOTE - To be able to complete your enrolment you need to bring the following with you:

Your USI number and proof of ID
To claim your concession you must provide:

The original and a photocopy of your Centrelink concession card (if eligible)
When Paying for your enrolment you must provide:
If Paying in full:

Cheque, credit card or EFTPOS (please ensure you check your daily limit will cover the cost of your fees)
If paying by instalment plan:

Cheque, credit card or EFTPOS card to pay your deposit:
$200 for fees under $1000
$300 for fees between $1000 and $1500
$500 for fees over $1500
25% of the total of your fees for fee for service courses.
Your nominated bank account details for ongoing payments to be deducted from. The direct debit form must be
signed by the account holder or both account holders if it is a joint account.

The instalment plan for students under 18 years of age must be signed by their parent or guardian.
Note: Students under 18 years of age will not be given an instalment plan unless they are accompanied by
their parent or guardian or their bring a signed authorisation.
Students must sign the instalment plan themselves if they are over 18.
*Payment plans are not available for students enrolled in Recognition of Prior Learning units/courses, short courses or Ducere
courses.
