Draft Programme 25.8.2015 First Finnish-Indian Joint Symposium Future Opportunities in Health, Drug Development and Diagnostics Turku, Finland October 27.-28., 2015, followed by Biomaterial Days on October 29, 2015 Organisers: University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University Place: Arken, Åbo Akademi University, Tehtaankatu 2/ Fabriksgatan 2, Turku Finnish Universities and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are encouraging direct contacts and co-operation between Finnish and Indian faculty and staff, departments and research institutions. In order to enhance joint research activities including seminars and conferences the newly established Finnish-Indian Consortium is arranging a kick-off Symposium to launch its activies. The First Finnish-Indian Joint Symposium aims at creating further co-operation in the fields of Health, Drug Development and Diagnostics. Academics and researchers from India and Finland are welcome to join us in creating new opportunities for joint research and education activities. The seminar is based of presentations of participating researchers as well as on active discussions on future opportunities.
