Minimum requirements:

A BVSc or PhD in a veterinary-related field
Three years’ work experience in an animal clinic or surgery for small and large animals
Relevant veterinary-related publications in accredited peer-reviewed international journals
Veterinary clinic practice and outreach experience
The ability to teach veterinary subjects
Experience in research and postgraduate supervision
Veterinary diagnostic skills
The ability to function effectively as part of the team in a multicultural environment
The ability to work independently
The ability to handle curriculum development and design for Animal Health
•
Demonstration of language proficiency in order to function optimally in the various multilingual environments
of the NWU
Recommendations:
