2013-2014 Scholarship Application
Scholarships are for the 2013-2014 academic year. Recipients will receive half of the
scholarship in the Fall semester of 2013 and half in the Spring semester of 2014. Selections are
based on adherence to fraternal values, academic achievement, campus involvement, and
financial need. Scholarships are granted to fraternity men who are rising second year students or
above.
Your typed or neatly printed application is due no later than Wednesday, February 27, 2013 by
5:00 pm in the Greek Life Office, 153 Tate Student Center. After finalists have been selected,
an interview will be the second stage in the application process. If you are chosen to be
interviewed, you will be notified on Thursday, February 28, 2013 via e-mail. If selected for an
interview, you will be required to come to the Greek Life Office on Friday, March 1 and sign up
for an interview. Interviews will be held Monday, March 4th, and Tuesday, March 5th in the
Greek Life Office Joe LoCicero Conference Room. Winners will be announced on March 7th. A
timeline for this process has been attached to the end of the application.

2/11- (Monday) Scholarship distributed via all mediums (Listservs, website)
2/27 - (Wednesday) Scholarship due in Greek Life by 5 pm (no exceptions)
2/28 – (Thursday) Finalists will be notified via congratulatory email
3/1 - (Friday) Finalists must sign up for interview slots in Greek Life Office by 5pm (If no
available slot will work due to class requirements, individual appointments can be made)
3/4 & 3/5 - (Monday - Tuesday) Finalist interviews in Greek Life Office Conference Room
3/7 - (Thursday) Scholarship recipients will be announced
4/7 - (Sunday, 6:00pm) Present scholarships at Greek Awards Banquet, Tate Grand Hall
