It’s tremendously exciting, and a great privilege, to be able to come and minister alongside you as we share in the rhythm of prayer and worship for which the Cathedral is rightly praised. I will be sad to leave my parish of All Hallows and also the DDO aspect of my work, but I’m delighted at the prospect of embarking on a new area of ministry with its very different demands and challenges. I look forward to getting to know many new friends and colleagues when I move to the Diocese of Bristol in the New Year.’ The Canon Precentor is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Cathedral’s worship and liturgy and for overseeing the management of the choir and musical life of the Cathedral.
