Youth Grantmaking Initiative
Brookline Community Foundation
Program Description:
The Brookline Community Foundation is currently seeking a group of motivated individuals to participate in
our Youth Grantmaking Initiative. Participants will learn about the field of philanthropy and the many needs
currently facing our community. Those accepted will be given the opportunity to make a set of funding
recommendations and engage in service projects with the potential to make a serious impact on local
organizations within their community.
This experience will allow participants to perform a significant service to the Brookline community. Selected
individuals will collaborate with a diverse group of other student leaders and experienced foundation
professionals to help address some of Brookline’s most urgent needs. All program meetings will take place
at the BCF offices: 40 Webster Place, Brookline MA 02445.
