Youth Grantmaking Initiative Brookline Community Foundation Program Description: The Brookline Community Foundation is currently seeking a group of motivated individuals to participate in our Youth Grantmaking Initiative. Participants will learn about the field of philanthropy and the many needs currently facing our community. Those accepted will be given the opportunity to make a set of funding recommendations and engage in service projects with the potential to make a serious impact on local organizations within their community. This experience will allow participants to perform a significant service to the Brookline community. Selected individuals will collaborate with a diverse group of other student leaders and experienced foundation professionals to help address some of Brookline’s most urgent needs.
