Snow Arena Rules and Regulations

The skiing complex Snow Arena (hereinafter – Snow Arena ) is a leisure and entertainment complex located at Nemuno Road 2, Mizarų village, Druskininkai municipality, consisting of three skiing slopes, a school of skiing, a fun park for children, restaurants and bars. The operator of Snow Arena (hereinafter – the Operator) is Joint-Stock Company Stamita, Ltd. (registered at Kaniūkų village, Alytus region, Reg. No 153701266, VAT code LT537012610, Register Manager: Public Enterprise The Centre of Registers Alytus

Branch).

Safety and comfort is of prime importance to Snow Arena . Visitors are required to familiarize themselves with the following rules and regulations. Proper conduct and respect of other visitors and staff shall be shown at all times.

Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated and a visitor will be evicted from Snow Arena complex. In this case the money paid for services will not be refunded and the decision of the staff shall be undisputed.

Having obtained a ticket for Snow Arena , each visitor agrees to comply with these rules and regulations and undertakes to follow them. The staff of Snow Arena shall not be responsible for the consequences of failure to observe the rules.

Entry to skiing slopes and snowboarding park is only possible to the visitors with skiing tickets. A visitor to Snow Arena is required to keep the ticket until the end of the skiing time and to show the ticket to the staff of Snow Arena upon request.

The last ticket is sold 1.5 hour before closing of skiing slopes.

Any visitors who fail to observe these rules may be evicted from the skiing zone or complex by the staff of Snow Arena . In this case the money paid for services will not be refunded and the decision of the staff shall be undisputed.

The minimum skill and knowledge requirement for use of skiing slopes is: stopping safety; control of speed; linked turns; ability to use the lifts.

The staff of Snow Arena shall reserve the right to ask a visitor to leave the main slope for the slope for beginners if he is deemed unable to perform the aforesaid actions. If a visitor is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, he will also be asked to leave Snow

Arena and in this case the money paid will not be refunded.

Those who wish to learn skiing or snowboarding and to use the lifts may apply to instructors of the skiing school DruSkiSchool located in Snow Arena and acquire practicing basics at an extra charge.

Only certified instructors who have a document proving their qualification may teach skiing on Snow Arena skiing slopes and enter into the contract of rendering teaching services with Snow Arena.

Skiing slopes of Snow Arena are a cold environment therefore visitors are recommended to wear appropriate winter attire. Those who do not have necessary clothing or equipment may rent it at the rental unit of Snow Arena at an extra charge.

Entry to the cold side and use of the lifts shall be at the risk of visitors themselves and within their responsibility. The owners, management and staff of Snow Arena take no responsibility for personal injuries, injuries caused to other persons, damage to personal equipment and clothes and lost or stolen things. It is the visitors’ responsibility to recognize their own abilities and act accordingly, to take care of personal belongings and leave them in the lockers in the dressing zone.

Visitors with an existing medical condition which may affect their safety are requested to seek medical advice before visiting Snow Arena . In any other event visiting Snow Arena by such visitors will be entirely at their own risk and the staff of Snow Arena takes no responsibility for their health disorders.

Visitors must compensate for any damage caused to property of Snow Arena according to the rates fixed by Snow Arena . Visitors must compensate for any losses inflicted on property of other person or on another visitor in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.

There are seven SOS telephones marked by special signs on the main slope of Snow Arena in order visitors could call for help in case of an accident.

Due to technical obstacles it may be temporarily forbidden to use the lifts or any zones on the skiing slopes of Snow Arena . In this event the price for services is not recalculated and the money is not refunded.

There are special spots for smoking in Snow Arena therefore smoking in any other places is against the rules of Snow Arena .

Drinking and eating in the cold side of Snow Arena is only permitted at the “Bo” Bar , “Carlsberg” Finish Bar and “ABSOLUT ®

Ice Bar” .

Snow Arena Rules on the Slopes:

1. Respect of other visitors of Snow Arena . A skier or a snowboarder must act in a way whereby he or she does not endanger or prejudice others.

2. Control of speed . A skier or a snowboarder must adapt his speed and manoeuvres to his personal ability and density of traffic on the slopes.

3. Control of direction . A skier or a snowboarder coming from above must take such direction and manoeuvre which assures the safety of a skier or a snowboarder below.

4. Leaving sufficient space for a manoeuvre by overtaking . A skier or a snowboarder shall overtake another skier or snowboarder from either left or right, providing he or she leaves sufficient space for them and does not perform any deliberate or involuntary manoeuvres.

5. Looking up and down the slope before crossing the piste or starting off.

After stopping or before starting off skiing he must always look up and down the slope and ensure he can do so without endangering himself or others.

6.Stopping is permitted only in places with good visibility, at the side of the piste. A skier or a snowboarder must avoid stopping on the run, in narrow areas or places with restricted visibility unless it is absolutely necessary. In case of a fall in such a place a skier or a snowboarder must move to the side as soon as possible.

7. Climbing up the piste.

Having decided to walk up the piste, a skier or a snowboarder must keep to the edge of the piste and allow other visitors run down without obstacles.

8. Obeying the signals.

A skier or a snowboarder must pay attention to all the signs, markings and notices on the piste.

9. Accidents.

At an accident it is everyone’s duty to assist. Witnesses shall provide the attending staff and doctors with all required information.

10. Establishment of identity in the event of an accident. Every skier, snowboarder, witness or person responsible for an accident must give personal details required for accident documentation to the attending staff or doctors.

Visitors of Snow Arena are forbidden:

1. To ski without helmets.

2. To ski or snowboard straight down the main slope at a high speed.

3. To visit Snow Arena complex under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other toxic substances.

4. To smoke in Snow Arena complex area (except for smoking spots).

5. To leave children alone.

6. To take the rented clothes and equipment out of Snow Arena .

7. To pass by trick into the complex through turnstiles or to enter the service space.

8. To disturb visitor traffic, to climb over turnstiles or gates, to climb lighting equipment, ski-lift towers or other supporting structures.

9. To cause damage to the stock and equipment of the complex.

10. To carry out any commercial or advertising activity in the complex area despite the fact whether it is related to receipt of income or not without the consent of the staff of Snow Arena .

11. To ski in the snowboard park for beginners and to use the stock of Snow Arena .

12.To ride on snow using a sledge or any other means except for downhill skis and snowboards.

By undersigning these Rules and Regulations I hereby undertake to observe them and assume a full risk related to observance of these rules as well as loss and damage. I hereby acknowledge that the responsibility for failure to observe these rules would entirely fall on me and understand that Snow Arena shall not be liable for this loss and damage.

* Personal data are only required for the Consent to the Rules and Regulations. The information will not be disclosed to any third persons or used for commercial purposes.

* The registration form shall be completed during the first visit and will be valid for any subsequent visits to Snow Arena.

The Administration of Snow Arena reserves the right to amend these Rules without prior notice. Please read them at www.snowarena.lt before arrival in Snow Arena complex as there may be changes in them since your last visit.
