Learning Targets
• Describe changes in society and culture that led to conflicts in values in the 1920s
• Describe the significance of the literature, arts, and feminism of the 1920s
• Describe the innovations in transportation and communication and the impact they had on American
society
Project: In this project you will be showing the innovations and significant literary, artistic, athletic and
political people and events in U.S. History. You will choose a famous 1920’s person and present their
biography. You will present this person’s life story including their impact on the United States.
Requirements:
- Presentation must be between 4 to 6 minutes. No more, no less.
- Person’s life, especially what they are famous for and their impact on the US.
- Picture of your person and then a product to help you present the person/event.
Optional:
You may include a video, audio, readings or other examples of what person is famous for. These are part
of your presentations but may not be longer than one minute.
Project: You may choose form the following list or get your own approved:
