She is currently a PI in multicenter study aimed at testing a new drug for cystinosis that will improve quality of life for patients with cystinosis. Dr Elenberg is interested in education having graduated in December 2011 from the University of Texas with Master in Education degree. This degree increased her knowledge and skills in teaching. She had given multiple letures on Cystinosis on national and international level. In 2011 she received Fulbright & Jaworski L. L. P. Faculty Excellence Award from Baylor College of Medicine, in the category of Teaching and Evaluation.
