A Policy Dashboard for Evaluating Fisheries Sustainability Roger Martini Abstract Good indicators of the economic and policy incentives faced by fishers are essential for fisheries managers to put fisheries on the path to full sustainability. This information is even more useful in a multilateral context where the experiences of different countries can be compared in order to identify best practices. The OECD plays an important role in collecting fisheries statistics and policy information in its 34 member countries and beyond. Placing this information in a single dashboard provides a convenient and useful tool that adds value to existing data. This poster will provide a preliminary look at what such a policy dashboard could look like, what information it would contain and how it can be used by policy makers to achieve the vision of an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable fishing sector.
