St. Genesius-I chose this saint because he is the patron saint
of acting and I enjoy acting. I also chose this saint because I
thought it would be an interesting saint or younger kids.
St. Martin de Porres-I chose this saint because he respected everyone,
even vermin with respect. This is how my family will treat everyone.
St. Monica-I chose this saint because she had a lot of patience for
her son and husband. She prayed for 7 years for her son to join the
church and her prayers were answered. I think we should all have
patience because God might not answer our prayers right away.
Our Lady of Guadalupe-I chose this saint because we all live in
America and she is the patron saint of America.
St. Rose of Lima -I chose this saint because she is the patron saint
of gardeners. I really enjoy gardening and nature.
St. Francis of Assisi-I chose this saint because he is a caring
shepherd just like Jesus was with us.
St. Catherine of Bologna-I chose this saint because she is the saint of
artists.
St. Francis de Sales-I chose this saint because I think books
are important for little kids. It helps them gain more knowledge and
become more intelligent.
St. Elizabeth of Hungary

St. Michael the Archangel-I chose this saint because he helped
and served others. This is so important that I want to get across to our
younger students to help everyone.
St. John of God-I chose this saint because he is the patron saint of
firefighters and hospitals. I believe it is important for my faith family to
know how important it is to care for one another.
St. George-I chose this saint because he showed courage
and honor always.
St. Vincent Ferrer-I chose this saint because he is the patron saint of all
builders, including those who built our building. They also work with
wood, which makes me think of the cross.
St. Peregrine Laziosi
St. Thomas Aquinas-I chose this saint because he was the patron saint of
Catholic Schools. He was also a very smart person.

St. Thomas More-I chose this saint because he showed the people
of England to follow their faith.

and she was a strong warrior

St. Anthony of Padua-I chose this saint because throughout his younger
life he had to show resistance in his battle against demons. He also is a
patron saint of lost items.
St. Cecilia
St. Agatha-I chose this saint because she is the patron saint
of care. I think that we should help and care for each other as a family.
Sts. Cosmos and Damian- I chose these saints because I want to
be a doctor and they are the patron saints of doctors. Also, because my
faith family will be able to pray to them for good health and to stay safe
from illness.
St. Lawrence-I chose this saint because he is the patron saint of
cooks and the poor. I really enjoy cooking. He also helped the poor by
setting up soup kitchens for them. He used his love of cooking to help
others.
St. Ignatius of Loyola
St. Benedict-I chose this saint because he is the patron saint of
School children. He was known for his devotion to God and connection
with animals.
St. Paschal Baylon-I chose this saint because he is the patron saint
of shephards, who were the first people to see Baby Jesus.
St. John Baptist de La Salle-He is Jesus’ cousin. He is a role model for
all in the family of Christ.
St. Aloysius Gonzaga- I chose this saint because he is the patron
saint of youth and teenagers.
St. Blaise-I chose this saint because I thought everyone in my
family would have heard of him. He also did great things in the Catholic
Church.
St. Nicholas-I chose this saint because he is a great role
model. He teaches us to help those less fortunate and he is my patron
saint.
St. Michael the Archangel-I chose this saint because he
protects everyone in Heaven and on Earth.

St. Christopher -I chose this saint because he is the patron saint of
transportation. I find this important because we use forms of
transportation every day.
St. Gabriel-I chose this saint because he told Mary that she was going to
have Jesus. He is the messenger from God.
St. Agnes
St. Joseph of Arimathea-I chose this saint because he is the patron saint
of my parent’s occupation and is a very important yet overlooked part
of the Catholic Church.
St. Sebastian-I chose this saint because I love sports and have a
great appreciation for soldiers. St. Sebastian is the patron saint of both.
St. Patrick-I chose this saint because he was very brave. He
chased the snakes out of Ireland which was why he was brave. It takes
a lot of bravery to make the right choices in life, which is why I
chose him.
St. Catherine of Siena
St. Jerome-I chose this saint because he helped many people
learn about the Bible.
St. Lucy- I chose this saint because she made a sacrifice of
herself, to follow and do what was right in her heart.
St. Raphael the Archangel-I chose this saint because he will protect
and watch over my faith family.
St. Padre Pio
St. Elizabeth of Seton-I chose this saint because I want to be a
teacher when I grow up. She started a school and influenced many
people.
St. Kevin-I chose this saint because he founded Glendalough in
Ireland for devoted Catholic men. He was very nice and welcoming to
all.
St. Joseph of Cupertino-I chose this saint because I want to
pilot when I’m older. If we pray to him, my Faith family will be safe
when they fly.
St. Martin of Tours-I chose this saint because he taught us to share all
of our belongings with others.
