For the Master Degree Programs (M.B.A., M.S.) the student must have successfully completed:
☐1. A minimum of 34 semester credit hours (SCH)
☐2. A minimum of 24 semester credit hours taken while in residence at SMSU. (A maximum of 6 SCH will be accepted in transfer to SMSU in the oncampus graduate program, maximum of 3 SCH in the off-campus ED program. Only grade of “B” or higher are accepted for transfer.)
☐3. A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 is required to graduate. “B-” or below grades in graduate courses are not acceptable.
☐4. Students have seven (7) years from the date of their first course registration to complete all requirements for their Master’s Degree.
This form must be on file with the SMSU Registration & Records Office in order to earn your degree and be eligible for Commencement:
