Update of the regional
context
As there were many new members in the cluster and as a courtesy
to the new Coordinator and Information Manager, the participants
provided brief introductions about their organizations, and gave
overviews of their work.
- The City of Kharkiv is hosting a large number of IDPs, but many
of the IDP families live outside of the city and in rural areas,
IDPs have transportation problems reaching help and
assistance.

- Mental health professionals are needed.
- One partner, Association of Specialists Devoted to Overcoming
Trauma, identified that there should a government department
dedicated to supporting children of war.

Presentation of 3W was made by Oleksii Kniazhnytskyi, followed by
explanation of importance of 3W statistics for both donors and
partners
Partners provided updates to the 3W reporting, and appointments
for individualized consultations were made.

Child Friendly Spaces and Community Spaces, Prefabricated
Community were discussed.
Organizations running child friendly spaces, community centers
have capacity but welcome materials. However, they do not have
the capacity to distribute materials.
Partners reported that communities are receiving aid, but
psychosocial support is needed. A psychologist comes once per
week, but they would like more human resources.
Partners noted that everything present in Kharkiv was
exponentially more needed along the contact line, and would like
to make future plans supporting this areas
Partners have opportunity to work with different educational
centers in Khakov to train teachers, once the ToT is conducted.
Partners noted that in addition to bringing experts for training, the
focus on any program should focus on training local counterparts
and build capacity in Kharkiv.

would be willing go to rural areas, but they need financial and
logistical resources.

Partner`s proposals for school kits were discussed
For a list of the contents, please see the list from each organization
attached to these minutes.
Education partner recognized that they believed that by the end of
August, they would be in a better position to estimate the number
of out of school children, as well as assess the types and numbers
of catch up classes required.
All partners asked to work on school readiness plans as the primary
action point for the next Education/Child Protection Cluster
meeting in August.
School Readiness Plans: Station Kharkiv reported that they are
preparing catch up classes for students who have missed days,
weeks and months of their vacation. Summer camps are also
