In addition, links to each pathway’s webpage can be found on the Credential Pathway Options webpage. Multiple Subject Program The School of Education offers multiple pathways leading to a Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential. Pathways share common key assessments for use in candidate evaluation and program improvement. Pathway Name Multiple (Traditional and Intern) Distinguishing Features Program entry in fall or spring semesters 2 semesters of coursework and student teaching Offered either in traditional or intern format, with same required coursework and assessments Credentials Earned Preliminary Single Subject: English, Math, Science, History, Music, Art, Physical Education, World Languages. The professional preparation component is administered by the School of Education; subject specific coursework is offered by the College of Agriculture. Student teaching is combined with the student teaching experience required for the Single Subject Credential in Agriculture. Prepares future physical education teachers to instruct individuals with disabilities in the public schools Candidates must obtain or be working toward a credential through a Single Subject Program that authorizes them to teach physical education.
