Post Landfall 1.6 TCCOR Checklist The following conditions and responses will be completed by DDPH supervisors and their personnel during duty hours and by DDPH CRT after hours: TCCOR TCCOR 5 Set 1 Jun – 30 Nov TCCOR 4 72 hrs until the onset of winds 50 knots or greater for shore facilities and 35 knots or greater for afloat units. TCCOR 3 48 hrs until the onset of winds 50 knots or greater for shore facilities and 35 knots or greater for afloat units. TCCOR 2 24 hrs until the onset of winds 50 knots or greater for shore facilities and 35 knots or greater Checklist Line Items • Update / validate plans associated with destructive weather. • Validate TCCOR checklists. • Notify DDPH personnel. • Identify and mitigate missile hazards. • Perform house cleaning efforts. • Reschedule meetings and TAD. • Check storage of material against possible damage from flooding. • Notify DLA-P & DDC CCC TCCOR 4 set. • Review preparations for TCCOR 3. • Continue TCCOR 4 actions. • Notify DDPH personnel. • Communicate with DDC-CCC and DLA-P for pre-planned support for preparedness and recovery. • Review & discuss activation of EM Plans, etc. • Top off fuel for all vehicles and generators. • Check Emergency power and lighting equipment. • Verify 24-hour point of contact (POC) and telephone numbers for CRT. • Notify DLA-P & DDC CCC TCCOR 3 set. • Review preparations for TCCOR 2. • Continue TCCOR 3 actions. • DDPH Supervisors will advise employees about the leave and recall policy for the conditions. • Encourage employees prepare their homes. Updated: 5 May 2011 for afloat units. • • • • • • • • TCCOR 1 12 hrs until the onset of winds 50 knots or greater for shore facilities and 35 knots or greater for afloat units. • • • • • • • ALL CLEAR Once hazards have diminished and higher authority has given the all-clear to evaluate damage / resume normal operations. • • • • • • • Notify personnel on leave and TAD of impending storm. Protect valuable equipment from water intrusion and flooding, etc. Verify missile hazards are mitigated. All personnel will ensure back up of critical data on their assigned personal computers. Ensure that all buildings are secured and special equipment protected. Move all electrical equipment that might be damaged by water away from doors and windows. Computers/electrical equipment should be covered with plastic to minimize possible water damage. Commence tie down procedures on designated material and structures. Notify DLA-P & DDC CCC TCCOR 2 set. Review preparations for TCCOR 1. Continue TCCOR 2 actions. Notify DDPH non-essential personnel to remain home if necessary. Secure electrical power non-essential equipment. Final preparations, final actions by departments to ensure continuity of business functions will be minimally affected by storm damage, etc. In the event an evacuation becomes necessary, DDPH has established an emergency information telephone number, 473-2626. All employees should call this number for current information regarding when to return to work. All supervisors will ensure widespread dissemination of the emergency phone number prior to evacuation. Notify DLA-P & DDC CCC TCCOR 1 set. Verify no hazards exist. Initiate phone tree to account for all personnel if possible and report status to DLA-P & DDC CCC. Inform personnel when to return to work. Continue with daily operations as soon as possible. When the emergency condition no longer exists and it is safe to venture out, the DDPH CRT will inspect all buildings, grounds, equipment and material to initiate a list of items correction and maintain direct liaison with NAVFAC HI concerning any power outages, building leakage and flooding. Where possible, the CRT will apply emergency repairs to DDPH facilities to the extent appropriate for the situation to resume mission functions if necessary.
