rules of NCSM .
(Total emoluments at start shall be ₹54,700.00 appro x. in A -1
cities and will change depending on the place of posting )
Essential qualifications :
First class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant
discipline
Experience :
Minimum one -year experience in research/design/workshop/ teaching
OR M.E/M.Tech in the above disciplines.
For candidates having
M.Tech/M.E, the requirement of first class in their B.E degree is
exempted.

The appointees of Curato r ‘B’ have excellent career opportunities
of merit based in-situ promotion s applicable to scientific
category of officers in NCSM as per which an incumbent will be
eligible for promotion to next high er grades (maximum upto PB 4, ₹37400-67000 with GP ₹10000) after minimum residency
period prescribed at each grade.

Essential qualifications :
First class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in
relevant discipline
04.
Experience :
Minimum one -year post qualification experience in research /
design / workshop / teaching OR M.E/M.Tech in the above
disciplines. For candidates having M.Tech/M.E /Ph.D., the
requirement of fi rst class in their B.E degree is exempted.
05.
Maximum Age Limi t:
35 years as on the last date of receipt of completed application.

Job Description :
Design
and
development
of
exhibits,
audio -visual
demonstrations, teaching aids etc.; development of museum
sections on
various
s ubjects
of science
&
technology;
organization of educational programmes for di fferent categories;
research on history of science & technology, museum techniques
and evaluation of exhibits all p ertaining to the developmental
activities of the museum/centre. Assisting in day -to-day work
and administration of the museum/centre.

In addition to Basic Pay (Pay + Grade Pay), a llowances such as
D.A./H.R.A/Transport allowance etc. are also admissibl e at par
with Govt. of India employees.

form of Demand D raft from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour
of “National Council of Science Museums” payable at Kolkata, at
any of the following zonal offices of NCSM latest by 31.07.2014.

08.
Mere possession of requisite qualifications and ex perience
shall not entitle the candidates to be called for the test and
interview. Decision of NCSM in this regard shall be final and
binding. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any
influence, political or oth erwise, will be treated as
disqualification for the post. Interim enquiries will not be
entertained.
Applications not submitted in the prescribed format and
without copies of testimonials as proof of qualification &
ex perience , photograph and fees (w herever applicable), shall
