Students will learn how to administer
neuropsychological tests
Students will gain practical experience by
administering neurocognitive tests/tasks in a
laboratory setting (i.e., the Cognitive
Psychology Laboratory)
Students will learn how to test specific
research ideas and collect data using
neuropsychological tasks
Students will learn how to score and
interpret neurocognitive test findings and will
learn how to analyze test data using a
popular statistical software package called
SPSS
Students will analyze their own research data
and learn how to properly discuss research
findings
Students will review relevant research
studies and learn how to write a scientific
report (using APA guidelines)

psychosomatic psychopathologies will be
introduced according to psychoanalytic
theory. This psychosomatic approach is
introduced after Sigmund Freud, although
