My name is Thomas Marshall and I am a Speakers Coordinator for the Queen’s
Accounting Association (QAA) at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. QAA is
Canada’s most prestigious undergraduate accounting association, with a
longstanding reputation for excellence among students and corporate partners. One
of our goals this year is to help students at the Queen's School of Business become more
connected with the accounting industry. We have numerous events throughout the year
that help us achieve this goal, and one of our headliners is the CPA Speaker Series.
This event involves three industry professionals speaking to students about the CPA
designation and how it helped them achieve their career goals. QAA annually selects 60
of Canada’s brightest future accountants from the program to participate as
Speaker Series delegates. Past speakers have come from a wide variety of
organizations such as PwC, Canadian Natural Resources Ltd., Bell Canada, and
Cineplex to name a few.
We believe that your insights and experience in the industry would add both depth
and breadth to our Speaker Series. We are looking for an insightful and passionate
speaker, which is why I cordially invite you to come speak at our CPA Speaker Series on
March 19th, 2015. The event would be held in the evening and it would be at Goodes
Hall at Queen's University.

how you used your CPA to become title of position currently held. It would be my
