1. NATIONAL VIGIL FOR LIFE 2014
On Saturday the 3rd of May, there will be a Pro-Life Vigil in Merrion
Square, Dublin from 3-4pm.
The vigil is about showing a strong pro-life presence and to say no
to abortion. Please make a very special effort to attend and
encourage family, friends and anyone you know to join you. A
sponsored bus will leave from Glenties Church at 8am, Ardara at
8.15am, Killybegs Bus Stop at 8.30am, Mountcharles at 8.45am,
Donegal Town at 9.00am, Ballyshannon Bus Stop at 9.20am. To

FROSSES FESTIVAL 2014
As you are aware the Frosses Festival 2014 will be from Friday,
30th of May until Sunday, 01st of June.
Entertainment over the course of the weekend will include a
special performance by Riverdance, Conal Gallen, Robert Mizzell &
the Country Kings, Comedian Big O, Turbulent Eddy, Keltic Kaos,
Craft Fair Day, Soapbox Derby, Fashion Show from local stores,
Fun Run/walk, Children's entertainment and much more...

MONSTER CAR BOOT SALE AND AUCTION Will be held at Inver
BLISSBERRY SOCIAL FARM MOUNTCHARLES
Health Gardening Programme - places still available. More than
vegetables take root and grows at Blissberry Social Farm! Most
come and attend for fun and exercise. Some make it a social thing,
exchange tips about growing vegetables while sharing buns and a
cuppa. Others just want to get out of the house and having a
friendly place that gets them outdoors and engaged in meaningful
activity.
BEEKEEPING - Blissberry Farm in collaboration with South Donegal
Beekeepers Assoc. are having a series of Introductory Courses
to Beekeeping Taster Sessions through to advance
Beekeeping. We do one day packages for those just interested
with this fascinating hobby of beekeeping. Everyone is welcome to
come along and meet the beekeepers and try on a suit and have a
look at our new Blissberry Apiary. Starting Sat 26th April at 2pm.

CYCLE AGAINST SUICIDE is coming to Donegal
On Tuesday 6th May, the 2014 Cycle Against Suicide will stop
overnight in Donegal Town. We are looking for Homestay
Providers to put up our cyclists for the evening. If you can host
one or more of our team for the night please email

ok not to feel ok and its absolutely ok to ask for help

MOUNTCHARLES HERITAGE AND WALKING GROUP is holding a
series of history talks every Monday evening from 8-10pm, in the
Olde Village Tea Rooms, Mountcharles. The talks are being
delivered by local historian Helen Meehan and are very well
attended. The topics vary from week to week, and each session
includes a break for refreshments followed a Q&A and audience
participation. These lectures are part-funding by Donegal Adult
Education Service, and everyone is welcome. There are only a few
weeks remaining so come and join us.
The Mountcharles Walking Group meets every Wednesday at 10am
at the Green Pump for a walk around the area, followed by tea and
scones and a bit of friendly banter in the Old Village Tea
Rooms. These walks are suitable for people of all levels of ability
and we are always delighted to see newcomers.
