Mr. Jitendra Singh took premature retirement as Assistant Commandant from Central
Industrial Security Force (Govt. of India) after serving for 23 years. He was on deputation to
Intelligence Bureau (I.B.) for 3 years (1995-98), where duties assigned at IGI Airport, New
Delhi with Immigration services (FRRO / Delhi Police). He was Head of Security, Fire
Safety and Team Leader / Master Instructor Disaster Management for Weapons of Mass
destruction i.e. Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Neuclear emergencies as trained from
from OPCW at Krusevac (S&M), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (USA), DRDE Gwalior and
CME Pune. Besides, having completed his M.Sc. and MBA with specialization in Disaster
Management from Commonwealth of Learning / IGNOU, he is an Associate Member of
Institute of Fire Engineers (India), Graduate Member of Institute of fire Engineers (UK) and
has also achieved Honours in Divisional Fire Officer Course from CISF.
He had Fire Safety Audit/Consultancy courses from NISA/CISF (Govt of India)
consequently carried out Consultancy/Survey for Fire Safety/Security including installation
of Electronic Gadgets/induction and deployment of CISF in various industrial enterprises.
He has also carried out Audits and Inspections of Fire systems, equipments and appliances
installed at various industries. At present He is Consultant - Fire Safety at National Institute
for TB & RD, New Delhi (Autonomous Govt of India) from April‘2012 onwards.
