Katarína obtained her MSc. in 2011 at the Faculty of Science in Kosice, Pavol Jozef Safarik
University. The main goal of the diploma thesis was the synthesis and biological evaluation of
tacrine a coumarin derivatives as potential cholinesterase inhibitors. Currently, she is a PhD
student at the Department of Toxicology and Military Pharmacy, Faculty of Military Health
Sciences, University of Defence. Her PhD thesis is preparation of novel cholinesterase
inhibitors with central action and their in vitro testing.
