Eng. Nadhira Alhinai Biography Eng. Nadhira Alhinai is currently the Head of HSE in one of the Omani Government leading Entities. She is a Civil and Environment engineer in background but had branched out with many other professions and fields as part of her working experience and challenges that she took on in the past 10 years and a half; including holding Professional Qualifications under the following bodies NEBOSH, IOSH and IEMA. Nadhira drove the Decree No. (42) Of 2009 - The Environment, Health and Safety Management System Regulatory Framework (EHSMS) through her acquisition as a Senior EHS Consultant and EHS Manager positions in UAE between 2010 and 2011 and delivering the system to (Abu Dhabi Police, Family Foundation) and (Al-Ain Municipality) respectively. In addition to working in Mouchel Group in UK as the Highways & Infrastructure Engineer and Safety, Health, Quality and Environment (SHEQ) Regional Advisor for Highways and Infrastructure Business Stream for 6 years between the period of 2004 and 2010. Nadhira constantly strives to learn more to gain and expand her knowledge umbrella by pursuing new challenges and endeavour various roles. Meanwhile, she is a very active member under social commitments by either getting involved as a speaker or delegate in many conferences, event and forums outside and inside Oman. Furthermore, in leading in relevant societies in locally under both International and National level such as: Project Management Institute Arabic Gulf Countries (PMI-AGC), Oman Region as the Director of Treasurer and Publication American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Oman Chapter as the President (Under Establishment) Occupational Safety & Health Oman Society (OSHO), Oman as the Founder and the President of the society (Under Establishment) Omani Society of Water Omani Society of Engineers
