Because of various reasons that can harm the pets or the public, owning exotic pets should be restricted. 2. According to Do you really want a baby tiger? by Mia Lewis, “Usually only specially trained and qualified individuals working with the backing of a specially equipped facility are fully able to meet the needs of exotic animals” (6). 3. The following is three quarters of a body paragraph. Sentences at the end have been eliminated. You do not have to rewrite. Just state what is wrong. Moreover, many exotic pet owners end up without being able to provide the right environment for them, which can be described as cruel and unusual. Exotic pet owners can end up caging their pet, which can be detrimental to the animal’s health. If they can’t live in the own natural environment, then they can not practice their normal behaviors. According to REXANO, however, “Animals are personal property, and we oppose legislation that restricts the private ownership or use of animals” (9). This statement is saying that animals are private property and no more restrictions shall be made. 4. Should private citizens be allowed to keep exotic animals as pets? In my opinion, I do not think private citizens should be allowed to keep exotic animals as pets. 5. As said in “Do You Really Want a Baby Tiger” by Mia Lewis, “A dog is an animal, but it is a domesticated one—a psecies that has evolved over thousands of years to live well with people” (Lewis 5). 6. As well, wild animals require certain conditions that most domestic ones don’t, such as living space. 7. A trip to the vet with a puppy or a kitten is easy and fast, but taking a wild animal to the vet is simply convoluted. 8. Even though owning an exotic animal sounds incredibly fun, letting citizens own them for their own personal entertainment is not morally correct. Kim Bloomer is one of the many citizens that want this argument to end saying owning exotic pets is legal. 9. It’s true that wild animals are cute and they look adorable when their little, but their cuddly face isn’t gonna stay forever. 10. “Many exotic animals are strong enough to be dangerous even without meaning to cause harm” (Lewis 4). 11. The following is a full introduction. What is wrong with it? Have you ever seen an exotic animal, adorable animal? Have you ever told your parents you wanted one? Of course, most people have. Theres a big chance of parents saying yes to a household pet, other than a wild animal because “owning an exotic pet is expensive, time consuming, and a huge responsibility (13). 12. Like she said having an exotic animal as a pet is time consuming, dangerous, and expensive. 13. Disregarding this, the facts are concrete “1.5 people get killed yearly by a captive reptile” as mentioned by Zuzaha Kupol from Rexano. This shows that exotic pets specifically reptiles have a really insignificant homoside rate specillaly when compared to other goliaths like traffic accidents where 45,000 people die each year.
