Nominee must be an employee of a credit union, building society, mutual bank or friendly society. 2. Have demonstrated use of innovation and initiative in recent roles for the benefit the customer owned banking institution. 3. Can provide examples of leadership capacity in terms of how it has in the past and can in the future benefit the mutual. 4. Can demonstrate a commitment to the customer owned banking industry. 5. Be a person of high personal integrity. 6. Be under 35 years as at 31 December 2014. 7. Nominee’s employer must undertake to meet the costs for the Award recipient to attend the 2014 World Credit Union Conference in the Gold Coast from 27-30 July 2014 to receive their Award. This includes flights, accommodation and Conference registration fees. All travel arrangements for recipients are to be organised by the nominee’s employer organisation. 8. The Award Committee’s decision is final and the Committee will not entertain any correspondence in relation to the granting of any awards and may, at their absolute discretion, decline to make awards even though entries were received. 9. The Award recipient must remain employed within the customer owned banking industry for a period of at least one year following receipt of the award to be eligible to receive the prize of registration and travel costs to an industry specific conference to the value of $10,000. 10. Following the Award recipient’s attendance at their selected conference, the recipient must deliver a short verbal presentation on the overseas conference(s) attended at the 2015 COBA AM Institute Convention to be held on Darwin in September 2015. 11.
