Making cookies is great fun and of course, everyone gets tasty cookies to eat when they are done. Children really enjoy giving cookies they have helped to make to their friends because it makes them feel proud to have done a really good job. Perhaps the best thing about 5 baking cookies is that it does not take a long time and is actually very easy to do. You just mix everything together and bake the cookies in the oven for about 15 minutes. 3.~4. As we go through life, we meet many different people and some of them become our friends. There are many different kinds of friends, but a true friend is someone who will stay with you even during the bad times. True friends show that they care when you need help and tell you that you can succeed just at the moment when you want to quit. In addition, scientists have found that having friends is good for our health. For instance, people with close friends often live longer and happier lives. However, many people find that as they get older, they have fewer and fewer friends. That is why it is important to keep in touch with old friends and make new friends too as the years go by. 5.~6. When it comes to making an appointment to see a doctor, most people just call on the phone. However, with the rapid growth of the Internet, more and more patients are going online to make an appointment. Many large hospitals now allow patients to choose the time and date of their visit through the hospital’s website. This is convenient for patients and it saves time. If a patient wishes to change the appointment for any reason, all they have to do is go to the hospital’s website again. Some people like this method of making appointments, but others still prefer doing it over the phone with a real person. Who knows what the future holds? Perhaps making appointments by phone will become a thing of the past. [答案] (一)看圖辨義 1. D 2. A 3. A, B 4. B, C 5. A, B (二)對答 1. B 2. B 3. C 4. D 5. B (三)簡短對話 1. A 2. D 3. C 4. B 5. C (四)短文聽解 1. D 2.
