The technical content of the Workshop includes topics that are highly relevant to the assessment, remediation and management of federal contaminated sites, such as: Assessment Assessment technology, innovation, option analysis, human health risk assessment, etc. Sustainability Green and sustainable remediation approaches, environmentally responsible redevelopment and reuse, green remediation best management practices, principles for greener clean-ups, etc. Monitoring Data quality, cost evaluation, emerging real time monitoring technology, etc. Remediation New remediation technologies, remedial option analysis, aquatic remediation, etc. Management Project management approaches, lessons learned, liability, communication, stakeholder engagement, program management, etc. Contaminants of Special Concern Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), 1,4-Dioxane, source and fate of emerging contaminants, etc. [This list can be tailored to focus on those issues that are most relevant to the contaminated sites being managed by your department] Many of the presentations are tailored to the [INSERT your primary function here].
