New Study Proves Dr Chris Correct on Allergen Blocker
Dr Chris Steele MBE always knew that the HayMax™ barrier balm would be able to trap house dust
and cat allergens. And now a new study from NPARU has proved Dr Chris’ first instincts were
correct…
HayMax™ was developed by hayfever sufferer Max Wiseberg for his own hayfever, and is widely
used as an effective pollen barrier. Dr Chris Steele MBE is a great fan of HayMax™ and has
recommended the product four times on ITV1’s This Morning. He has always thought that HayMax™
would work well for dust and pet allergies.
Max was cautious in promoting the use of HayMax™ for this purpose until he had proof that it could
trap these airborne allergens. Now a report from the National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit
(NPARU) has shown this is the case, Dr Chris is one of the first people to congratulate him… “I know
many people across the country are going to benefit from this, hugely. There are so many people
with dust and pet allergies and something like 41% of allergy sufferers avoid visiting a relative or
friend’s house because they're scared that being in their home may trigger allergic symptoms.”
According to the NPARU study, the HayMax™ pollen barrier balm, which has already been proven
to block pollen, is now proven to trap house dust mite droppings and cat dander.[1] It states “the
most common triggers of indoor allergy symptoms are house dust mite…droppings, animal
dander*, cockroach droppings and moulds”
“The major house dust mite allergen … and cat dander allergen … were selected as these are
common allergens…Studies have shown surprisingly high levels of cat allergen are found within
places of work.” The report concluded that “HayMax has the capability to trap indoor and outdoor
airborne allergens and particles”.
Allergies affect around one in four of the UK population, and the number of sufferers is increasing
by 5% every year. House dust and pets can cause nasty symptoms like nasal congestion, wheezing,
sneezing and runny eyes. House dust mites live everywhere in our homes, residing mainly in our
beds, meaning that we can be inhaling large quantities of dust mite allergens on a daily basis.
Several customers report that HayMax™ provides effective relief of their indoor allergy symptoms,
which prompted Max to test this out, and have it clinically proven. Margaret Liew, for example,
comments, “I am forever looking for a 'cure' for my bad allergy, to dust, not pollen. I have been
telling ‘n’ emailing all my 'allergic' friends about this balm. Thank you so much. This is the best part of
my hols, found this HayMax balm by accident!”
HayMax™ retails at £6.99 for a 5ml pot, and is available from www.haymax.biz, on 01525 406600
and from Asda, Holland & Barrett, selected Boots, Tesco and Waitrose, and independent chemists,
pharmacies and health food stores nationwide.

About Airbourne Allergens
According to the report, “house dust mite allergen (HDM) represents one of the most frequent and
potent allergen sources and Der P 1 is the principal HDM allergen. Research has shown that more
that 50% of allergic patients and more than 80% of asthmatic children are sensitized to mite
allergens.”
“The incidence of allergic symptoms to pet dander has increased over recent years as a
consequence of lifestyle changes that have enhanced ambient exposure to pet allergens. Fel d 1
is produced largely by cat saliva and sebaceous glands and is the primary allergen present on
cats.”
About HayMax™
HayMax™ is a natural, organic drug-free barrier balm, which is applied at the base of the nostrils
(much like a lip balm) and works by stopping airborne allergens getting into the body.
Each person can tolerate a certain amount of airborne allergens without reaction. There is a
‘trigger’ level, below which they suffer no effects, but above which an allergic reaction occurs.
HayMax™ is not a cure, but by blocking indoor and outdoor airborne allergens from entering the
body, it helps keep the sufferer symptom-free for longer. And as long as it keeps the sufferer below
their trigger level, they will have no allergic reaction.
HayMax™ is drug-free, so there are no drowsy-side effects, and is suitable for children, pregnant
women and breast-feeding mothers. It is approved by the Vegetarian Society and certified organic
by the Soil Association.
The balm comes in a handy pot, so fits easily into a handbag, school bag, briefcase, makeup bag
or pocket. And HayMax™ is very economical too – many users reporting that one pot lasts them for
several months.
HayMax™ is Corporate Hay Fever Sponsor of Allergy UK.
