WEX Online – The Work Experience Service

Thank you for helping us to update our work experience database. This service is designed to help students find
work experience placements that motivate and excite them. The brief details that you supplied about your
company and placement(s) have now been written up and are attached to this e-mail.
The Next Step
To confirm that the pre-filled information is correct or to make changes please contact the WEX Online team via
phone 023 9228 3441 or e-mail wexonline@portsmouthebp.co.uk.
The Future
Students will be able to search and apply for the placement(s) you offer using the WEX Online database. If we
receive an application from a student who is interested we will inform you via your preferred communication
method. When you receive the application please can you respond as soon as possible as this helps to keep the
process moving for both teachers and students.

A reduction in administration.
Management of health and safety issues for WEX Online students.
More control over the number of students that can apply to your organisation.
Communication through a single point of contact.
Matching of interested students with your placement needs.
If you wish to return the amended forms to us via e-mail, we recommend you take the following steps: 1. Open the attached forms and make the amendments as required. If possible please make all
amendments in red text.
2. 'Save As' a new document, e.g. 'Approved WEX Forms'. (Note - if you just press 'SAVE', you may not
be able to find the updated document in your 'Temporary' folder to forward to us).
3. Attach this new document to an e-mail and send to wexonline@portsmouthebp.co.uk
