More than 500 different species live in 65 displays with some breathtaking features and plenty of inter-actives along the way. SHARK WALK The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to over 10 species of sharks and guests enter the attraction via a stunning glass walk-way right above their home. Looking down, they can see some of the most majestic creatures of the deep swimming just inches beneath their feet, giving a unique perspective on some of the marine world's most impressive predators. FROM THE COLD ATLANTIC TO THE GREAT BRITISH COAST The journey of discovery continues in the depths of the Atlantic as guests are introduced to the creatures of this cold, deep ocean - from the intelligent and multi-tentacled Octopus to mullet, bib and smelt. From the Atlantic to the British Isles and some fascinating members of the Shark family can be seen in the large Ray Lagoon where the daily feeds and talks are not to be missed. INTERACTIVE ROCK POOLS The interactive rock pools allow guests to get close to the tiny creatures that inhabit our seashores. Marine experts are on hand to provide fun and educative ‘show and tell’ sessions and children love being able to hold crabs and starfish and stroke anemones. CLAWS CLAWS brings together a spectacular collection of the “B-movie monsters” of the marine world, from the gigantic Japanese Spider crab (which can grow to 12 feet long) and the colourful Rainbow crab. Built like miniature armoured tanks, these powerful crusty creatures of the deep are natural warriors and guests can inspect them at close quarters in a newly themed area featuring quirky displays designed to resemble giant crabs. A mechanical model shows the workings of a crab’s claw and interactive features enable guests to feel the textures of their shells. Specially created ‘B-Movie’ style displays add to the fun, including low and pop-up windows allowing visitors to examine these alien like animals from every angle. Add in fun, informative graphics and vibrant theming and you have a monster new addition to one of London’s most popular attractions. SAVE OUR SEAS Conservation is at the heart of the work that SEA LIFE London Aquarium does and there's plenty of opportunities throughout the visit to learn about the key issues facing marine life today. A special conservation area gives guests the opportunity to pause for thought and learn more about special projects like the SEA LIFE Trust’s current campaign to stop whaling.
