Visions of Australia: Regional Exhibitions Touring Fund - Assessment Meeting
Report round closing December 2014
Introduction
The Visions of Australia: Regional Exhibition Touring Fund, round closing December
2014, supported a range of exhibitions to tour to 27 regional and remote locations
across Australia as well as the development of new touring exhibitions.
The quality of the applications was very strong and there was diversity in the types of
cultural material proposed for exhibition.
Competitive applicants demonstrated they had genuine partnerships, these varied
between established venues and partners relatively new to Visions.
The panel noted that many proposals included Indigenous content, and meaningful
engagement between Indigenous and non-Indigenous material.
The panel noted the importance of carefully considered support material, including
content that was to be incorporated into the proposed tour.
