BA degree, Department of Logistics Management Registration guidelines for 2012 academic year 1. Please note that 64 credits are required for the BA degree. This includes basic courses in Jewish studies and general knowledge courses. Students should ensure that all requirements are met in order to obtain a degree. 2. Each student is required to obtain 46 credits in Logistics. In order to ensure that this requirement is fulfilled, elective courses should be taken accordingly. 3. Regarding requests for exemption: students requesting an exemption based on their previous studies must upon acceptance immediately submit a request to the University's Status Committee. The department will advise students if so desired. Until the request for exemption has been approved, the student must register for the full program. 4. Regarding the following courses, Statistics, Introduction to Economics, Theories and Applications, and Operations Research, students are required to take in both Semesters A and B the same group of courses. 5. A second-year student cannot register for Theories and Applications unless a passing grade has been received in Introduction to Micro economics and the student is currently or was registered in the past for the course, Introduction to Macro Economics 6. Third year seminars are conducted by two different lecturers 7. Academic reserve students and IDF students who are in a two-year program, will take in their first year, the following courses: Research Tools, Basics Of Transportation and Movement Systems and the Management of Purchasing Systems. It is recommended to take 6 credits in Jewish studies and two general credit courses.
