Requirements.
1. Complete at least 7 required honors courses (min. 23.5 units, including 2 honors
seminars) as outlined below with the minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA.
2. Complete all honors courses with a grade of B or better (B- is not acceptable).

UCLA TRANSFER ADMISSION PROGRAM (TAP)
Requirements
To participate in the UCLA TAP program, students must complete all of the Honors Scholar
requirements. IMPORTANT NOTE: Students are required to complete at least 12 units in
honors courses by the end of the fall quarter preceding their transfer for UCLA TAP
Certification eligibility. TAP applicants must be regular participants in the Foothill Honors
Institute. UCLA TAP applicants should see a Foothill counselor for appropriate course
planning.
**Unless there are mitigating reasons why students are unable to complete their courses at
Foothill College (e.g. because major prep courses are unavailable at Foothill) UCLA TAP
applicants must complete all courses at Foothill College while they are participating in the
Honors Scholar program.
