Identify, compare and interpret the histories, developments, organisation and current situations of journalism principles, policies, production, practices and consumption in a range of international settings and contexts. The modular programme allows for the development of transferrable skills in addition to subject-specific skills. Students will be encouraged to reflect on their own practice. They will also develop a critical awareness of the changing media landscape and develop their own skills portfolio with the aim of exploiting the opportunities available. . 16.
