Objectives and Scope
UNOPS is seeking expressions of interest from reputed vendors of the items listed below,
which are needed for UNOPS’ offices, projects and programmes globally;
NOTE:





It is not possible to forecast the precise quantity to be procured at the moment. This will
depend on the actual order requirements each time.
The specifications below are general. More detailed specifications will be provided in our
actual bidding documents (which will be sent to the invited suppliers only) with pictures
Not all suppliers who will express their interest will be invited. The selection will be at the
discretion of UNOPS
Please do NOT submit an offer at this stage. Only express your interest and provide the
information/documentation as required at the end of this document
The final specifications of some of the items might or might not differ in our final bidding
documents and the final list of items might or might not be slightly different
UNOPS intends to establish Long Term Agreements (LTA) for the following products:

1. Polo shirts
General Description:
Adult short-sleeve polo-shirt: Pantone 279 C with embroidered
UNOPS logo in white. - 100% Organic Cotton pique, Pantone 279 C,

General Description:
T-shirt : 100% organic cotton, Pantone 279 C, printed on the front
and back with UNOPS logo. Shrinkage allowance: Maximum 4-6% Size: S to XXXL

Cap: Baseball type, Pantone 279C with embroidered logo - 100%
unbrushed or brushed cotton twill, 180g/sm - one size fits all
4. Lanyards
General Description:
Lanyard: Pantone 279 C lanyard made from recycled plastics with
screen printed UNOPS logo (the stylized world emblem and the
acronym ‘UNOPS’) in white (one side) - Chrome clamp. Metal
trigger/lobster clip and detachable mobile phone/usb holder clip.
Safety break-away at back of neck - Made from 100% post
consumer recycled materials or water bottles OR 100%
biodegradable materials.

UNOPS white mug with D-shape handles with UNOPS logo (the
stylized world emblem and the acronym ‘UNOPS’) imprinted - White

Bidders should therefore provide a complete list, including specifications, of all visibility items
that they are able to supply.
Special Procurement Conditions and Additional Information
UNOPS invites suppliers capable of providing the goods in above categories to
submit their expression of interest.

In order to be considered as a potential supplier, interested enterprises should
submit their Expression of Interest including the following information:

brief presentation of your company including number of staff, turnover,
years in business

reference list demonstrating your qualifications for participating in this
possible upcoming bidding process

contact information (full name and address, country, telephone and fax
numbers, e-mail address, website and contact person)
The Expression of Interest and accompanying documents must be received by
UNOPS no later than 28 February 2012 at the email address below.
Expressions of Interest can be sent by e-mail or fax (max. 10 pages) to the
contact person below. Please indicate Ref. No.: UNOPS-158-2012 on all
submissions.
This call for Expression of Interest does not constitute a solicitation. UNOPS
reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI
and/or solicitation process. UNOPS also reserves the right to require compliance
with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation documents.
Submitting a reply to a call for EOI does not automatically guarantee receipt of
the solicitation documents when issued. Invitations to bid or requests for
proposals and any subsequent purchase order or contract will be issued in
accordance with the rules and procedures of UNOPS.
