Barn, farm and field exercises following morning program at:

$25.00 Lunch, materials, and certificate*
Hands on exercises from chickens, goats, to basic equine handling (reading horse signs, haltering,trailering).
Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and for basic farm work as you will muck, feed, and clean a bit during the day. Particularly suited to first responders and animal disaster volunteers who need basic education.

Massachusetts, Massachusetts State Licensed Riding Instructor, Owner of Tall Pine Farm in Charlton, Ma., Member of the Central
Mass Disaster Animal Response Team, Former Director of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department Mounted Unit, Former
Member and Training Officer for the New England Mounted Police Association.
Katherine MacKenzie holds a B.S. Animal Science, UMass Amherst with a concentration in genetics and livestock reproduction management. She has been an Animal Control Officer for the Town of Framingham since 1992. She is a past president of the Animal Control Officers Association of Massachusetts. Katherine is a certified animal control officer she has attended many disaster trainings and certifications including the HSUS Red Star training and National Animal Control
