Midyear 2013 social delegates will embark on a relaxing day in Orlando and Winter Park, Florida.
The day will include guided tours of the Orlando Museum of Art and The Mennello Museum of American Art in
Orlando’s Museum District. You will be able to enjoy exhibitions of contemporary and American art, including paintings, drawings, graphics, artifacts, photographs and sculptures. After lunch at Mitchell's Fish Market you will have leisure time to shop in one of the many stores at Winter Park Village.

Trevor Bell - Across the Gulf Stream: Paintings from Florida and Cornwall - These paintings by the noted
British artist, Trevor Bell, are characterized by shaped canvases painted with luminous atmospheric tones and punctuated with bold strokes of contrasting color.
American Art after 1945 - The American Art Collection includes paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and sculptures from the 18th century to the present. The OMA's holdings feature works by artists such as
John Singer Sargent, Thomas Moran, George Inness, Georgia O'Keeffe, Ansel Adams, Suzanne McClelland,
Robert Rauschenberg, Pat Steir, Morris Louis, John Chamberlain and Dennis Oppenheim.
American Art before 1945 - These selected works of American Art from before 1945 are comprised of gifts donated by individuals from our community, and by purchases made by the Orlando Museum of Art’s support groups.
Art of the Ancient Americas - The Art of the Ancient Americas Collection features a selection of ceramic, jade, stone, cloth, gold and silver artifacts which date from 2000 B.C. to A.D. 1521 and represent more than 30 different cultural groups.
Contemporary American Graphics Collection - The Contemporary American Graphics Collection includes more than 150 original, signed and numbered lithographs, etchings, silk-screen prints and woodcuts by
America’s foremost artists. Artists represented in this collection include Andy Warhol, Robert
Rauschenberg, Ed Ruscha, Bryan Hunt, Lesley Dill, Katherine Bowling, Jane Frielicher and many other
American masters.
Mennello Museum of American Art

Eugene Savage: The Seminole Paintings – Artwork that captures the natural rhythm of the Everglades and represent a way of Seminole life.
Earl Cunningham's Everglades –Artifacts and paintings by self-taught artist reflect Earl Cunningham’s fascination with the Everglades and its native tribes.
Art and Artifacts of the Seminole: Selections from the Collection of I.S.K. Reeves V and Sara W. Reeves –
Clothing, jewelry and photographs tell the story of the Seminole in the Everglades.
Never No More: Storter’s Southwest Florida - Includes sketches and writings about rural lifestyle in the village of Everglade by artist Rob Storter.
Southern Folk Art Masters – Paintings from the museum’s permanent collection includes works by
Clementine Hunter, Edgar Tolson, Mose Tolliver, Purvis Young and William Edmonson.
