CANADA DAY WEEKEND
is only two weeks away. Plan your clothing, site
decorations and parade participation well so that
we can all join in and make this a great weekend.
A PANCAKE BREAKFAST, PARADE, and
BIRTHDAY PARTY are being planned with
some extra activities thrown in. Get ready to
celebrate!

GOLF TOURNAMENT – August 24
Evergreen Golf Course (9-hole, par-3)
Dates are pending for the CHILI COOKOFF and
the HORSESHOE TOURNAMENT.

WE NEED YOU! ... to help at the PANCAKE
BREAKFAST on Canada Day weekend. We need
people to help with the cooking and serving. Please
volunteer!

WHAT’S NEW?
...a great new PLAYGROUND at the Beach;
…the SWIMMING POOL is open (see rules on
reverse)
..a mini OUTDOOR THEATRE (THE GROTTO,
under development) in the pond area for special
events;
…a lot of activity around the OSPREY NEST as
two (or possibly three) hungry nestlings are being
fed by their doting parents.
…the MINI-GOLF COURSE is being resurfaced
and five holes are ready for play
You are welcome to walk or bicycle through the
golf course area (especially if you are accessing
the trail or going out for coffee), but the Lelawala,
the deck, the Grotto, waterfall, bridges, island
and pond are for special events only and are
restricted. Wildlife in the pond must not be
touched and children in the area must be
accompanied by adults. If at any time you wish to
explore the museums, please contact the office
for information.

Kids on bicycles rode through the wading pool
and it had to be drained. If dogs have been in it,
it has to be drained. Please let everyone in your
trailer know that the wading pool is for people
only!
