FBLA Trip
The high school FBLA officers will be attending the FBLA National Convention in Omaha, Nebraska. They will leave at
8:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5th and they will return on Sunday, November 8th in the afternoon.
Buffer Week
High school buffer week will be November 8th through 14th. No high school students will be allowed in the gyms or
weight room before and after school on these days!
Admission Price at MdCV Basketball Games
There will be a change in admission price starting this basketball season. Adults will now be charged $4 for a high school
basketball game and $3 for a junior high game. In the past students were allowed in to our contests free- this will
change. It will now cost a K-12 student $3 to attend a high school basketball game and $2 to attend a junior high
basketball game. The office is now offering a basketball “pass”. The cost is $10 and once paid for, the student will be on
the “spirit list” or pass list. This will enable the student to attend all junior high and high school basketball games
without any charge for admission. The office will provide a list at the admissions table, if the student has paid for the $10
pass, they will be admitted without charge.

High School Basketball
High school basketball practices will start Monday November 16th. Any high school student who wishes to participate
will need to have their physical form turned in by November 13th.
MdCV to Celebrate Veterans
On November 12, Marais des Cygnes Valley junior high and high school will celebrate Veterans Night with a soup supper,
student projects and recognition of the Veterans at the junior high basketball game. The MdCV Trojans play against the
Waverly Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m.
All members of the military will be admitted into the game at no charge and will receive a free meal. Come celebrate the
evening with us by enjoying a soup supper meal, looking at student projects and recognizing our military past and
