Corresponding author e-mail: ponpandian@buc.edu.in Nanostructured Sr-doped LaMnO3 were synthesized by facile hydrothermal method. The XRD patterns of the LaMnO3 sample shows well crystallinity and phase purity with an orthorhombic structure. The different morphologies of the LaMnO3 nanoparticles were confirmed by field emission scanning electron microscopic (FESEM) images. The structural properties were also confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and optical properties were characterized by UV-Visible spectroscopy and Photoluminescence spectroscopy. Their magnetic property has been analyzed by using vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). All these structural, morphological, optical and magnetic properties will be discussed in detail.
