The students enjoyed doing all of the theme days to help pledge against drugs! In language arts we began a character trait unit! We used Wayside School stories to compare and contrast different r traits of different characters. Then students created a project that described their traits. These projects turned out super cute! In math we started chapter two which focuses on subtraction with regrouping! We completed 4.1 and 4.2! Students did a fun scavenger hunt again! We also had our “spooktacular” Halloween party on Friday! The children were looking forward to it all week long! Next Week: Next week we will be continuing our unit on character traits! We will also be continuing with chapter 4 in math! Your children will be wrapping up social studies with Mrs. Luzar (test is on Monday). Please continue to do Moby Max, Achieve 3000 and reading at home! Please remember we do not have school next Tuesday because of elections! Monday- Technology Tuesday- NO SCHOOL! Wednesday- Spelling Pre-Test Thursday- Gym Friday- Music, Book Exchange, Spelling Test, and Vocabulary Test
